Common Painting Problems

Dirty Windows & Frames

The problem:

Most people don't realize that the dirtiest part of their windows isn't the glass—it's the inside edges of the frames and seals. Dirt, pollen, spider webs, and debris build up in these areas, trapping moisture and potentially causing seal failure or frame deterioration. Dirty windows also block natural light, making your home feel darker and less inviting.

Solution

We start where the dirt actually lives—the frames and edges. Before touching the glass, we scrub all window seals and frame edges to remove accumulated dirt and debris. We use steel wool when necessary to remove stuck-on particles without scratching. Then we clean the glass using either professional squeegee techniques with soap solution or our water fed pole system with purified, de-ionized water for a completely spot-free finish. Finally, we wipe down all frames to remove any remaining water, leaving your windows crystal clear and your frames protected.
